Doug Tolmie is our President and CEO. Recognized as one of the premier broadcast
storytellers and event producers in the Pacific
Northwest, Doug served for 25 years at KOMO-TV
(Seattle, WA ABC affiliate) winning more than 25 major
regional and national awards for broadcast excellence
including 10 Emmys. In addition to producing and
writing documentaries and numerous special reports
including the multi-award-winning "Dogtags" series on
combat veterans, Doug produced 500 studio-based "Town
Meeting" talk shows. As well, he produced more than 50
live broadcast specials such as the Children’s
Miracle Network Telethon to benefit Children's
Hospital and the "4th of Jul-Ivar's" Fireworks show,
and more than 50 non-broadcast events and fundraisers
for organizations. He also produced and wrote hundreds
of news stories on people who faced adversity
including profiles of more than 100 Children's
Hospital patients. Doug graduated Phi Beta Kappa/magna
cum laude from the University of Washington after
serving four years in the military as a Russian
linguist flying covert surveillance missions
throughout the Far East and Southeast Asia. Contact
